Lavender Green Flowers

Tuesday, February 17, 2015 - 07:30

January has come and gone and during a very busy period for enquiries boding extremely well for 2015 being a bumper year, we have found some time to have some wonderful UVL venue events teams in for our much talked about bouquet masterclasses. Recently the V&A, NHM and Saatchi teams have visited our Victoria store to try their hands at bouquet making. All three showed a lot of potential and we had a great success with keeping our stems spiralling and achieving the universally desired hour glass shape! We’re in the process of making a leader board and we’ll keep you updated on who’s on top throughout the year.

With Valentine’s Day being as busy as ever, our scrupulous install team are busy playing cupid and delivering breath taking bouquets of roses to the lucky ladies and gents of London fortunate enough to have hopelessly romantic other halves. We have designed some new spectacular arrangements this year and can’t wait to make Valentine’s very special indeed.

Aside from this, our sales team are creating new proposals for the hugely diverse enquiries we’re receiving whilst our Florists and install team have been just as busy preparing and installing the spectacular events we’ve been lucky enough to be involved with recently. The John Soane Museum, V&A, St Pauls Cathedral and British Museum are some of the amazingly unique venues dressed with our equally as disparate yet beautiful floral displays over the past couple of weeks. We were also lucky enough to provide arrangements for the inimitably glamorous BAFTA ahead of their awards ceremony as well as the stunning National Portrait Gallery for the opening of their Sargents exhibition. The opening of the amazing Rubens exhibition at the RA was another highlight of the past few weeks and something we’re honoured to be a part of.
