Lavender Green Flowers Welcomes New Shoots

Thursday, July 12, 2018 - 09:15

Lavender Green Flowers have welcomed three new people this year, with more in the pipeline. Colin Gray joins Lavender Green as Managing Director, Tabitha Allen joins as Head of New Business and Penny Lindeque as Senior Project Manager. All individuals have extensive backgrounds in events and weddings and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and big, beaming smiles.

Colin started with Lavender Green Flowers in January 2018, he quickly found his feet and is thoroughly enjoying the challenges that he’s met with. He is a well liked and valued member of the ‘family’ and brings with him a vast skill set learnt from previous successful positions within the industry. He started his events specific career in 2002 as an Event Planner for By Word of Mouth. After 11 short years there he left his position of Head of Sales and Operations and started at Goodwood as their Estate Food & Beverage Director. Searcy’s then snapped him up as Operations Director where he looked after a selection of the London portfolio, finally jumping back in to the event industry when Joining Lavender Green. He has worked with Lavender Green Flowers on multiple occasions over his career and there has always been a friendship there, so the move was an easy one and all involved have since been filled with confidence.

Tabitha only started at Lavender Green at the beginning of June 2018, and despite shattering her ankle competing in a Tough Mudder competition in her first week of the job, has also been quick to her feet. Tabitha has an extensive background in floristry and most valuably, event floristry. With her new role being Head of New Business, she works very closely with the Events Team at Lavender Green Flowers, whom have taken her under their wing whilst she is ‘learning the ropes’, Tabitha will undoubtedly be in touch with you all soon to personally introduce herself.

Penny has been with Lavender Green Flowers since April 2018. She has a degree in Art and has spent her years working in both Interior Design and Event Management. During her time in the company, Penny has very quickly become a valued member of the team, bringing imaginative design ideas and artistic skills to the Events Team.
