Lina Iris Viktor: Mythic Time / Tens of Thousands of Rememberings exhibition at Sir John Soane's Museum

Thursday, December 5, 2024 - 12:15

The Sir John Soane's Museum exhibition with the British-Liberian artist, Lina Iris Viktor: Mythic Time / Tens of Thousands of Rememberings is still open to see until January 2025. Having received stellar reviews from a variety of publications, including Vogue, it is well worth making a trip to the Museum to see Viktor’s imaginings.

This exhibition provides a rare opportunity to see works specially created and inspired by the Museum. Sir John Soane and Viktor have a key commonality of being inspired by many different cultures and where Soane represents these in his comprehensive collection, Viktor illustrates them in her glittering compositions.

The autumn has also seen many evening events held in the Museum, including the continuation of their extremely successful Twilight Tour, the latest addition to the Soane’s evening offering, as well as their ever anticipated Soane Late. Seeing the Museum in the evening, in all its Candlelit splendour, is a truly mesmerising experience.

The What’s On page on their website shows the next two months of public evening events for those who want a chance to see this for themselves.
