Bryan Ferry to play only UK show of world tour in the Lord's Long Room

Number-one selling artist Bryan Ferry will give an intimate performance in the famous Long Room at the Lord’s Bicentenary Gala Ball on Friday 17th October.

Guests at the ball will witness Ferry’s only UK performance of a worldwide tour which stretches throughout November and December. The event, which is open to the public, has been organised by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and will take place in the historic Grade II* Listed Pavilion and in a specially erected marquee on the outfield.

The ball includes a Champagne and canapé reception and will be followed by a four-course meal, served with wines, port and brandy, all with spectacular views around the Home of Cricket. The concert will then take place in the historic Long Room in front of an audience of just 300 people. Running until 1:30am, Ferry will be the evening’s main attraction with covers band Cover Up also performing.

Ferry has enjoyed a glittering career with band Roxy Music and as a solo artist, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide.

Tickets for this historic evening are available to buy now from www.lords.org/ or alternatively, visit the Lord's page. The dress code for the event is black tie for gentlemen and formal attire for ladies.
