Moorfields Eye Hospital takes AGM to LSO St Luke’s for a tenth year

Moorfields Eye Hospital, one of the country’s leading specialist hospitals, is continuing its association with LSO St Luke’s into a tenth year. On Wednesday 23 July 2014, this fantastically versatile venue will host around 300 members attending an AGM that marks an essential point of engagement in Moorfields’ event calendar. Yards from Old Street’s thriving Silicon Roundabout, this prominent medical institution is just round the corner from the converted Hawksmoor church that is now home to the London Symphony Orchestra’s pioneering music education and community programme, LSO Discovery.

The long-lasting relationship between the two organisations has so far seen the creation of 14 conferences, five award ceremonies and two small meetings, and demonstrates LSO St Luke’s commitment to excellent client service and smooth event delivery. Many of the events were catered for by LSO St Luke’s in-house team and made full use of the venue’s comprehensive technical infrastructure, including state-of-the-art presentation equipment and stunning lighting for evening functions.

Moorfields Eye Hospital chooses LSO St Luke’s for a number of reasons. The Trust’s main building does not have the capacity for large conferences and special events, and the location of LSO St Luke’s, its proximity to the Hospital and the capacity of Jerwood Hall make it an ideal venue they are happy to consider in the future.

Victoria Steinitz, Sales and Marketing Manager at LSO St Luke’s, comments: “Moorfields Eye Hospital is one of our long-standing clients and we are delighted they continue to book LSO St Luke’s for meetings, conferences and special events. We have two further events pencilled next year and look forward to the association continuing long into the future.”

LSO St Luke’s is a stylish and sophisticated venue available to hire for arts, corporate and private events with an edge. For the first time in 2014 the venue is also taking direct bookings for Christmas parties arranged in conjunction with award-winning caterers Moving Venue.
