Moving Venue are proud to work at many of UVL’s incredible venues, offering quality, seasonal catering throughout the year, and Christmas is no exception.
Each Christmas, they delve straight into the festive spirit, transforming their unique partner venues into extraordinary, memorable experiences for the loveliest guests. Although the festive season hasn’t yet ended, they’re already reminiscing on how amazing (and crazily busy) it’s been!
This season saw their sixth year partnering with the magnificent and striking LSO St Luke’s. For the first event guests enjoyed London cured smoked salmon with beetroot, apple and dill salad, apple pancakes and caviar crème fraiche to start, followed by slow braised beef with truffle mash, sticky glazed parsnip, buttered kale and a red wine sauce. For dessert, it was the delicious Valrhona chocolate torte served with passion fruit curd and a mango and passionfruit confit.
Alongside LSO St Luke’s, Moving Venue have had the pleasure of hosting in some of London’s most iconic venues this Christmas, such as the Natural History Museum, Guildhall, Museum of London and Cutty Sark – to name just a few! They’ve also worked at the stunning Freemasons’ Hall, with stunning high ceilings and art-deco features, throughout the festive season. A highlight was transforming the venue into the infamous Orient Express, transporting guests into grandeur and opulence.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, over 500 guests found themselves cosying up to the likes of Eddie Redmayne, Victoria Beckham and Boris Johnson this month at Madame Tussauds!
The Christmas Season has been hugely successful (103 events within the 3 Christmas weeks!). With still have a few events to go, they can’t wait to see what next year brings, but will soon be off for a well-deserved rest!
