Moving Venue by Smart

Moving Venue was delighted to be asked to cater for the latest Event Marketing Association (EMA) networking evening co-hosted by UVL.  Held in the strikingly beautiful Middle Temple, we designed an autumnal Italian themed menu heavily influenced by our creative director, Michelin starred chef Angela Hartnett.  After a selection of canapés, including truffle infused arancini and fritto misto were circulated, accompanied by a chilled glass of Prosecco or an expertly mixed Negroni, the buffet stations opened.

One was a build your own bruschetta station with lightly toasted country bread and toppings such as wood roasted vegetables, smashed white beans and pesto and curls of cured meats dusted with parmesan.  The carpaccio station had wafer thin slices of beef, tuna or golden beetroot dressed with micro herbs, drizzles of truffle oil and aged pecorino cheese.

A great treat was the fresh pasta station, with chefs rolling fresh pasta sheets and cooking tortellini and farfalle to order, served with either arrabiata or beef shin ragout.

It was all finished off with mini ice creams and a dessert tree hung with delicious sweet treats.

We thank Middle Temple for allowing us to cater in their historic and atmospheric Hall and Angela Hartnett for her inspiration, (and her love of autumnal truffles).
