The National Gallery

Friday, September 15, 2017 - 08:45

The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of Western European paintings in the world and has now opened its doors to wedding receptions and breakfasts for a limited time only! Located within the heart of central London, with a beautiful and extraordinarily varied collection, the Gallery provides and unrivaled backdrop for those celebrating one of the biggest days of their lives.

Our first wedding breakfast of the year, (which was surprisingly an actual morning breakfast!) took place before the Gallery opened its doors to the public for the day in July. The happy couple and their loved ones posed in front of Gainsborough’s Mr. and Mrs. William Hallett ('The Morning Walk') producing this wonderful photograph in Room 34 before they enjoyed their reception in the intimate glass domed roof of the Barry Rooms.

Within the Gallery there are a range of elegant event spaces which can accommodate everything from a private breakfast or an intimate lunch, through to a drinks reception or magnificent dinner which all take place alongside some of the world’s most iconic works of art.

To find out how to host your special day at the Gallery, please contact one of our dedicated events managers by emailing or call 020 7747 5931.
