No.11 Cavendish Square is leading the way in meeting the needs of hybrid working

Thursday, January 20, 2022 - 15:30

Meeting technology, able to use any platform, has been integrated into the Marlborough suite, Edwards and Maxwell rooms at No.11 Cavendish Square. There is no additional charge for using the new technology.

Marlborough Theatre

During 2021 they embarked on a project to upgrade all rooms in 3 stages to include hybrid technology, with the intention to make life easier and less stressful for event organisers and without hidden costs. With stage 1 of the project now complete they are well underway with stage 2 with the aim of completing the final stage later this year.

Stage 1 has consisted of upgrading the Marlborough Suite including the Theatre and the 4 syndicate rooms Marlborough 1, 2, 3 and 4, along with the Edwards and Maxwell rooms.

Edwards Room

The Marlborough Theatre, Edwards and Maxwell rooms now include 2x pan tilt and zoom ptz cameras and ceiling microphones and has been designed to integrate with any platform including Teams, Zoom etc. to enhance the virtual audiences experience and engagement no matter how they are attending the event.

Maxwell Room

Marlborough 1, 2, 3 and 4 now include an integrated camera, microphone, and speakers each designed to work with the clients preferred platform. They have also added a pc behind each of the screens and a wireless keyboard offering the client flexibility in planning their event.

This new integrated hybrid technology offers the event organiser greater flexibility at the planning stage along with numerous other benefits including:

  • Convenience – The technology is integrated in the room, no need to have 3 way communications between 3rd party supplier, event manager and inhouse av technician.
  • Risk – The system has been designed by our inhouse experts who work with it every day, meaning reduced risk for technical failure. Their in-depth knowledge allows them to advise the event organiser on best layouts of meetings and equipment usage for more complicated briefs.
  • Relationship – With a small team of expert’s relationships can be built between them and the client when planning their events. Technicians can then build on each event using their intricate knowledge of the venue to offer better solutions for future events.
  • Value – As equipment and staff are onsite, the cost of hybrid meetings is significantly reduced. Even for more complicated events where a dedicated AV technician is required it is extremely difficult for a 3rd party supplier to be competitive due to transport, setup and staff costs.

If you have any questions or would like to book an event using the new hybrid technology, please contact us at venue@11cavendishsq.com or 020 7307 2474.
