Ai Weiwei inspired events at the RA
Peyton Events are proud to announce a unique partnership with China Tang to celebrate the Ai Weiwei exhibition at the Royal Academy from 19 September 2015.
Exclusively until December 2015 the Fine Rooms and Keeper’s House at the Royal Academy are available for events and private dinners with a bespoke menu from China Tang.
Offering some of the best and most authentic Cantonese cooking outside of China, the menus do not compromise on classic recipes. From a live Wok station with Ho Fun beef and sweet and sour pork to a Peking duck carving station each dish is made using the freshest ingredients, traditional spices and natural flavours.
Hidden below the galleries of the Royal Academy the prestigeous Keeper’s House restaurant includes a opulent private dining room and is available for exclusive parties this autumn. Indulge in East Asian canapés such as scallop dumplings and steamed Cha siu bao before settling into dinner with dishes such as Ho Fun with beef in black bean sauce and a delicious selection of Dim Sum. Our expert barmen have worked on a sophisticated selection of Asian cocktails with classics such as a Singapore Sling and Mai Tai to our own Ai Weiwei cocktail incorporating rum and lychee flavours.
The Peyton Events team have also partnered with expert tea blenders Chash Tea to host traditional Tea Ceremonies during the Ai Weiwei exhibition. Choose from over 40 carefully blended loose leaf teas as well as a metaphorical tour of China’s tea plantations from the master of ceremonies before being poured the perfect cup of chai.
In further celebration of Ai Weiwei, The RA Supper Club will be hosting the September edition with special guests China Tang. The dinner fit for an emperor will be hosted on Wednesday 30th September in the private dining room.
