Peyton and Byrne’s little helpers sprinkle their magic on Christmas at Kew
Peyton and Byrne’s little helpers have opened the Christmas chalets at Kew, sprinkling festive cheer and treats throughout the Royal Botanical Gardens.
Expect treats such as succulent spit roasted Blythburgh farm hog sandwiches; sweet and meaty ho ho hot dogs served on a sub roll; traditional winter warmers including slow cooked Cornish venison and red wine casserole and chestnut crumble; grown up sweetcorn with salted butter and infused with Twickenham ale; plus tinseltown stone fired calzone sourdough pizzas fresh from the oven. As well as Peyton and Byrne’s festive range of seasonal pies including roast chicken and leek and pumpkin and winter vegetable that Rudolph can’t wait to get his hooves on!
As Jack Frost bites, guests can warm up with our traditional spiced mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and toasted marshmallows as they make their way through the illuminated trail. Not forgetting the candy cane corner where the famous Peyton and Byrne meringue snowmen, candy canes, toffee apples covered in chocolate and caramel and Christmas gingerbread trees will be on offer.
Taking inspiration from the gardens, Peyton and Byrne have created the Kew botanical drinks lab serving a selection of freshly prepared botanical cocktails and mocktails using herbs from Kew Gardens and Sipsmith botanical gin. Whether you have been naughty or nice this year there is something for everyone at Kew at Christmas.
