Spice Season Supper Clubs: Celebrating spices in London with Britain’s top Michelin starred and award winning chefs and Peyton and Byrne.

To celebrate the spice season at RBG Kew Gardens taking place between 23 May until 6 September, Peyton and Byrne are arranging a series of special one off supper clubs at the Orangery throughout the summer. The first was held on 25th June 2015 with Michelin starred chef Alfred Prasad, former culinary director of the Tamarind collection.

Alfred designed a spice infused tasting menu that showcased his unique and inventive style of Indian cooking over several courses. Each course had been inspired by a specific spice that tantalised the taste buds.  Alfred presented his bespoke menu and discussed his passion for all things spicy and love of cooking.

Peyton and Byrne transformed the beautiful Orangery into a stunning dining room for this one off series of Food Club events at Kew. A spice infused cocktail welcomed guests and a specially created paired wine menu was available on the evening. Tickets cost £60 per person.

The next spice supper club is with Atul Kochhar from Michelin starred Benares restaurant in Mayfair on 16th July 2015.

Oliver Peyton OBE says “We are thrilled to be working with Atul Kochhar at Kew and cannot think of a better way to celebrate Kew’s Spice Season than having some of the world’s best Indian chefs create a bespoke menu for the supper club series”.
