It’s been an incredible start to 2017 at Pinstripes and Peonies who’ve created some stunning events that they've had to keep all to themselves.
This week the florists delivered an incredible event at the Victoria and Albert Museum that has literally had them giddy with joy over the beautiful blooms created by the talented team of florists. On a cold February night, they brought the memory of a warmer autumn evening through the grand doors of this wonderful venue. Using autumn eucalyptus, cocoa leave, cherry brand and coffee break roses as well as one of their favourites, nutans, these golden and orange tones perfectly compliment the grandeur and golden tones of the unbelievable Raphael Gallery.
They were also at Banqueting House this week delivering a sensational event with the wonderful people at Zafferano. Designed by Inigo Jones, Banqueting House has housed key moments in British History from the execution of Charles I to the offering of the Crown of England to William and Mary.
To think of these historic events taking place beneath the astounding Ruben’s ceiling is truly awe inspiring. Echoing the grandeur of its history, Pinstripes and Peonies delivered golden lanterns and candelabras, dramatically placed throughout the space creating a truly atmospheric glow to the evening. Joined with stunning olive trees and dome after dome of incredible orange babe spray roses and trailing ivy, this was truly an event to be proud of!
Any of you whom have been ‘lucky’ enough to visit Pinstripes and Peonies HQ know that, well, it’s a bit nippy. It’s not great for us humans at this time of year but it certainly keeps the flowers happy! Although, come April, the shiny brand New Covent Garden Flower Market will be opening. So keep your eyes on your inboxes as Pinstripes and Peonies are in the middle of designing their invitations for all of you to join them at their new digs for a not so official opening party.
