Pinstripes and Peonies

Wednesday, February 7, 2018 - 16:15

Whoever said, ‘January is always a quiet month’, obviously isn’t up to date with the latest trends. Here at Pinstripes and Peonies we’ve had our most successful January to date, doubling the number of events we delivered in January 2017.

Saturday 13th January was a day all social plans were on hold, all lie ins rain checked and all hands were on deck. White and green, fresh, Spring florals were definitely the order of the day. Bud vases and trees headed to the V&A, whilst foliage urns and tall tables were next door at the Natural History Museum. Further down the road it was low vases for long tables and striking bar arrangements for Kensington Palace. (We won’t mention everything else that went to non-UVL venues that day also because, well, you know…urgh non-UVL).  Everything was installed, everything was beautiful, everyone was happy! Then we all went home for a gin and a sit down…

Between all of these wonderful events the team have been finding time in our full-to-the-brim workshop to do a bit of Spring cleaning/ organising/ trying to throw weird things away while Ruari isn’t looking. (Why do we even have a life size pig made of wicker?!). This is all in effort for a new and exciting project the team have underway. More on that next time though so watch this space…if we can find any…
