The team at Pinstripes and Peonies have had a spectacular start to Summer with the busiest months in the company’s history. With over 75 events delivered between May and June, it’s safe to say that these creative florists are taking the world by storm!
Chelsea Flower Show saw the team deliver not only shop fronts for Chelsea in Bloom, but also the most spectacular event at the gorgeous Royal Hospital Chelsea. Head of Events, Cathryn Goddard had this to say; ‘This was one of the most amazing events of the year so far. The event was for a repeat Client who essentially, gave us a mood board and told us to go crazy. And. We. Did. We brought in so much foliage our team of florists couldn’t see for green. We had stunning ferns and greenery cascading from historic fireplaces and built a free-standing floral bar canopy that could go into any Unique Venue as well as bar arrangements, poseur arrangements, plinths and creating a tropical garden in the Octagon. Smashed it. Again. Standard.’
The team have also welcomed two new people to Pinstripes and Peonies; Sinead O’Halloran has joined the team in June with a wealth of venue experience and expertise. Speaking of her new role she said; “This is terrifying”. We wish her all the best in her new role and sure she will be visiting the venues shortly to say hello.
The second addition to the Pinstripes and Peonies family is our very own Creative Director’s new born baby boy. Ruari McCulloch commented; “Cathryn, do you really think I have time for quotes right now?? I have flowers in one hand and dirty nappies in the other. Do some work! My baby needs clothes!” We can report that the baby is adorable.
Two days after returning from Paternity Leave “I’m so tired, where is the coffee?” – The incredible Pinstripes and Peonies team delivered the most gorgeous wedding at Banqueting House. With stunning long tables of hundreds of vases of flowers, lanterns, tall plinth arrangements and of course, the ever important bridal work – this will be a wedding that the team will remember for a long time to come.
