Back in the warmer climes of July, the Pinstripes and Peonies team delivered yet another stunning wedding to the immaculate, Kensington Palace. This wasn’t just any ordinary wedding for the team as the Bride also asked these creative florist for floral corsages…for her dogs. Ruari McCulloch had this to say; ‘I would literally do anything for a doggy cuddle. Best. Day. Ever.’
However, it turns out that along with making this gorgeous couple’s dreams come true; Pinstripes and Peonies have helped to spread the love globally!
Pinstripes and Peonies are incredibly proud to support the charity, Floral Angels. An incredible and inspirational group of women who take donations from events florists, such as Pinstripes, and rearrange the flowers into arrangements that are then delivered to hospices and nursing homes; spreading the joy a little further. Not only are Pinstripes and Peonies one of their largest donors but they also home the Angels in their new Studio in Vauxhall so that their important work may continue.
But back to the wedding; the wedding couple fell in love with the idea of their flowers going on to continue their journey of bringing happiness and told all of their Guests of the amazing Angels. It transpires that one Guest fell so in love with the idea, that they have started their own Floral Angels in Finland! Titled ‘Kukkaenkelit’ (that’s Floral Angels in Finnish for those of us not fluent), it has been created by a female entrepreneurs group who felt they wanted to give back to their community and they are swimming in donations.
Ruari McCulloch commented; “The work of Floral Angels is so important in an industry that is plagued by waste. The fact that this excellent concept is spreading is a testament to its founders and the team who work so hard to keep it going. Chuffed.”
