Following Pinstripes & Peonies successful installations at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, they hosted two volunteer gardening days at their sponsored primary school, Herbert Morrison, in Nine Elms.   

The first of the two days was the Family Day. Staff at Pinstripes & Peonies and fellow suppliers within the industry brought along their children to help bring some colour and personality to the space. With ages ranging from 2 to 12 years old, volunteers created bug hotels and bird feeders, tended to the frog pond and diligently watered plants.

The following day, 25 people from across the events industry volunteered their time to help rehome nearly 300 plants returning from the P&P installations at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and prepare the garden for another summer of outdoor learning for the Herbert Morrison students.

Pinstripes & Peonies have been sponsoring the school garden since January 2023.They have lovingly relandscaped the grounds, providing gardeners every Tuesday throughout the year to ensure that no plants or outdoor props from events and weddings go to waste.  

With huge thanks to the teams at Focus Productions, the Design Museum, Discreet Events, Westminster Abbey, Lettice Events, Wise Productions, Caper & Berry, Kew Gardens, AP&Co., Rhubarb and Historic Royal Palaces who came to volunteer their time.
