Step into a world of ancient rituals, extraordinary strength, and rich tradition as Sumo wrestling, one of the world’s oldest sports, returns to the Royal Albert Hall. For five days, the Hall will transform into a temple of Sumo, complete with an authentic soil and sand dohyō (ring) and a roof reminiscent of a Shinto shrine.
Before the spectacle of sumo wrestling unfolds in the iconic Royal Albert Hall, guests are invited to indulge in an unforgettable private dining experience within the exclusive Clive Room. This elegant, private space—steeped in history and adorned with refined décor—offers an atmosphere of intimacy and sophistication, setting the tone for a truly unique evening.
