RCP London Events hosts Secret Garden Fest for the fourth year running

June 2026

RCP London Events hosted the fourth edition of its annual Secret Garden Fest in June, welcoming clients, prospects, agents, suppliers and industry partners to an evening of summer celebration at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP).

Held across the venue’s historic Medicinal Garden and adjoining spaces, the event brought together more than 150 guests for an experience designed to showcase the venue’s event offering and seasonal catering.

A key focus of this year’s event was demonstrating the versatility of the venue. For the first time, the layout was reimagined to provide full coverage in the event of adverse weather, creating a seamless experience across both indoor and outdoor spaces while showcasing the venue’s adaptability for summer events.

Key features included a stretch tent, a core offering for summer parties,  alongside parasols and additional gazebos to increase covered seating areas. Fleece blankets were provided, creating a cosy atmosphere and festoon lighting framed the layout beautifully, bringing a festival touch  The refreshed layout proved a success, with guests commenting that it enhanced networking opportunities throughout the evening.

The event also showcased the best of the venue’s London Larder offering, featuring locally sourced produce from Cobble Lane, Paxton & Whitfield, Paul Rhodes Bakery and Hackney Gelato. Suppliers attending on the evening included Ellis Wines, REAL Drinks and Robin Ice Cream, helping to highlight the breadth and quality of independent and UK-based producers available through the venue’s catering offer.

Cocktails and mocktails were served in the Secret Garden Bar which both proved to be very popular.

Guests were invited to explore the venue’s Medicinal Garden, with the vibrant outdoor setting enhanced by colourful bunting made from upcycled textiles.

Inside the building, the in-house AV team delivered an immersive projection demonstration in the Wolfson Theatre, showcasing the venue’s technical capabilities and creative production expertise. The installation highlighted how technology can be used to transform event experiences while complementing the venue’s distinctive architecture.

This year’s event also supported a charitable cause through a raffle raising funds and awareness for The Third Age Project, a Regent’s Park-based charity that supports disadvantaged older people and helps improve their overall health and wellbeing.

RCP London Events’, Head of Commercial Events, Natacha Allen, said: “Secret Garden Fest continues to be one of the highlights of our calendar, bringing together clients, partners and suppliers in a way that truly reflects what makes RCP London Events unique. This year’s refreshed layout allowed us to showcase even more of the venue’s versatility while ensuring guests enjoyed a seamless experience, whatever the weather. The event is an opportunity to demonstrate our hospitality and commitment to delivering memorable experiences, while also supporting an important local charity.”
