The Victoria and Albert Museum is hosting an intimate exhibition revealing Frida Kahlo’s life story, through the pain and the passion, with items never before seen outside Mexico.
The-recipe have been invited to be Caterer of the Month at the V&A and they’ve created a colourful complimentary cocktail inspired by the artist herself.
Philippa Stimpson, head of sales at the-recipe, says: “It’s sweet, salty, sour and bitter and like Frida Kahlo, is one of Mexico's most famous and popular exports: The Margarita. Our special free Frida cocktail has a unique twist, it's the Salted Grapefruit Margarita. Mexico's favourite tequila, El Jimador Bianco, is shaken with fresh grapefruit, lime and a salted grapefruit cordial, and served on the rocks with grapefruit zest.”
All guests who confirm their booking with the-recipe at The Victoria and Albert Museum during May will have a complimentary cocktail at their drinks reception or dinner for the rest of the year.
