Rhubarb hosted an exquisite event with London Event planners, Golborne Events at the Victoria and Albert Museum for a private viewing of highly-anticipated Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition.
600 guests were welcomed by rhubarb staff serving canapés, bowl food and a beautiful dessert station, each inspired by the craft and art of Dior’s designs.
From Cured and flamed salmon, cucumber, caviar and viola flowers and Lamb fillet, English pea and lovage puree, the menu offered a subtle nod to Christian Dior's passion for botanicals and flowers throughout.
This was brought to the decadent dessert station, with an abundance of sweet delights including rose, vanilla and pistachio macaroons and tarte au citron with meringue topping.
Perfectly paired to the canapes, plates and desserts, sophisticated cocktails complimented with floral aromas and flavours. The selection included Lady Rose; rose syrup stirred with pomegranate, vodka and cranberry juice, beautifully served in a coupe with dried rose buds, and the Lemon Drop; mandarin blossom vodka with Cointreau, lemon juice, lengthened with a splash of sparkling wine.
A truly bespoke and memorable event for one of the largest Dior exhibitions in UK history.
