The Royal Institute of British Architects

Tuesday, August 22, 2017 - 12:15

RIBA (the Royal Institute of British Architects) will be hosting an Autumn Breakfast Showcase on Friday 8 September. The event, taking place between 8am and 12pm, will allow guests to see what the venue has been up to this year and the exciting things it has in store for 2018. After trialling some tasty treats, members of the RIBA team will be on hand to give attendees a tour of the magnificent flagship venue 66 Portland Place and its newly refurbished spaces.

RIBA’s event spaces celebrate the traditions and progress of the institute, immersing audiences in both architectural heritage and the future of design. Its flagship venue, 66 Portland Place, which features a tiered auditorium with original wooden panelling, is located at the heart of the capital and can host meetings, conferences, receptions and dinners for up to 400 delegates.

66 Portland Place is set in an architecturally significant construction built in 1934 following an intense competition among leading architects. The open design incorporates floor-to-ceiling windows and views over London, creating an oasis of light and space, and boasts a stylish Art Deco backdrop. Today RIBA plays host to a vast range of events for corporates, associations, charities and private clients.
