Join them for an evening of insightful discussions, vibrant networking, and lively music, as we showcase the remarkable work of artists from the Black community who have established an art practice. Hosted by south London arts organisation The Collective Makers, Resilience aims to spotlight two exceptional artists working in the medium of digital art.

The theme of Resilience is at the heart of the event, with the artists delving into powerful explorations of identity, culture, language, society, and other topics that resonate with the concept of overcoming challenges and perseverance. These artists have been invited to create new digital artworks in response to the evening's theme, and their pieces will be displayed in the Queen’s House.
In addition to the art exhibition, the event will feature a panel discussion where the open call winning artists will share insights about their creative process and their work, followed by networking opportunities for attendees to connect, collaborate, and engage in meaningful dialogue. The evening will also include a live DJ, ensuring an energetic and celebratory atmosphere throughout the night.

The Museum is committed to elevating the visibility of artists by providing platforms and fostering partnerships through a wide range of exhibitions, events, talks, tours, and workshops throughout the year.
