Science Museum's Illuminate, which opened in early 2019, has already proven to be the perfect venue in which to host all manner of events, including Christmas parties. Last year, Evolve Events designed a seasonal party which featured incredible ice sculptures, talented dancers and fun retro games for the 250 guests to enjoy. To further enhance the Christmassy experience, the staff from Illuminate’s catering partner, Moving Venue, got creative with festive face paints.
Illuminate gives clients the opportunity to enjoy exclusive use of the two-level space and celebrate Christmas against the backdrop of London’s skyline through Level 5’s panoramic window. The dedicated events space is available for both daytime and evening hire and has capacity for up to 400 guests for dinners and conferences and 450 for receptions.
This year, Moving Venue will introduce bespoke menu options consisting of either a festive bowl food selection or an indulgent three-course dinner, plus a prosecco reception, wine, beer and soft drinks throughout the evening. White Light, the venue’s AV partner, will also offer its Christmas AV package which includes a PA system, DJ booth and equipment, mirror ball, 16ft x 16ft dancefloor, lighting design, integrated coloured LED lighting system, wireless handheld microphone, installation and de-rig, and wireless LED uplighters.
