Last month, Searcys Events had the privilege of collaborating with Jeremy Chan of two Michelin starred Ikoyi, for the prestigious Berkmann Wine Cellars Portfolio Tasting at Guildhall.

The event, attended by over 1,500 guests, brought together some of the finest wine suppliers from around the world. The grandeur of Guildhall provided the perfect setting for an occasion of this calibre.

Jeremy’s menu, carefully curated to complement an exceptional selection of wines, was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The lunch, served to 600 VIP guests, featured an exquisite starter of cured trout, kalamansi, and crab salad with beef fat brioche.

The main course showcased venison paired with the bold flavours of rhubarb, chocolate, and chilli. To conclude, a humble yet refined ginger cake was elevated with Batak berry mascarpone, coffee caramel, and blood orange.
The seamless execution of this high-profile event was a testament to the expertise of Searcys Events Executive Chef, Jedd Tucker. Both the Berkmann team and Jeremy commended on the calm and well-controlled kitchen, expertly led by Jedd. Partnering with such a well-respected chef in the industry, was a career highlight for Jedd, who is also known for working alongside Richard Corrigan at Guards Polo.
