Shakespeare's Globe

Monday, March 6, 2017 - 17:30

Swan is part of Shakespeare’s Globe’s complex, situated on the banks of the River Thames, close to London Bridge, Blackfriars and Waterloo.

This spring has seen the complete refurbishment of the beautiful Balcony Room, located on the top floor of the Swan building, with views of St Paul’s Cathedral and the City. The refit includes statement chandeliers, a bespoke bar, wooden floors and stylish furnishings. They have retained a muted palate of warm colours and art deco touches, creating a bright and versatile space, flooded with natural daylight with stunning river views. The room’s audio visual equipment has also be updated, to include a state-of-the-art lectern and PA system as standard. Every event will be managed by a dedicated event planner, and on the day is managed by the in-house kitchen and event operations teams.

The Balcony Room is perfect for daytime and evening lunches and dinners, standing receptions, breakfast and day meetings and it is also licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies. The room can accommodate 70 guests seated or up to 120 guests standing. Day delegate rates and wedding packages are also available.

Swan has exclusively planned and hosted private events at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre since 2007 and the team has a wealth of experience in delivering stylish celebrations and functions. With a reputation for seasonal British food, immaculate service, imaginative design and spectacular production, they now host over 400 bespoke parties every year, each carefully arranged by the dedicated team of event planners, mixologists, chefs and designers.
