Harvey Nichols chose to ‘revel in decadence’ by selecting Sir John Soane’s Museum as the backdrop for their Men and Women’s Pre-Collection edit in November. The Museum was the perfect choice for the luxury retailer’s ‘wardrobe retox’ not only for its rich collection of artefacts but also for its contrast of past and present – it was ‘an ode to the bold’ that saw animal prints in the Library-Dining Room, geometric patterns in the Dome, and pinks in the Picture Room. The retailer also chose to interview Helen Dorey MBE, Deputy Director and ‘Inspectress’ at the Museum, about Soane’s view of design and fashion. You can read the entire piece, ‘Curiouser and Curiouser,’ here: https://www.harveynichols.com/news/features/curiouser-and-curiouser/
The events team at the Soane is always eager to accommodate such requests and looks forward to welcoming many more fashion shoots and launches at the Museum in future!
