Steeped in 18th Century history, bathed in natural light with pale decor and stunning views across the Thames and the Courtyard, these rooms offer couples a truly glamorous London setting in which to marry and celebrate afterwards. Included in the package is 45 minutes for a photo-shoot in the famous Edmond J.Safra Courtyard complete with 55 fountains, giving couples a once in a lifetime opportunity to have this incredible backdrop as an integral part of their special day.

Acting Head of Events Lorraine Thorne said “this is a really special offer, the rooms are perfect for weddings and with incomparable London views and architecture, couples who have had to postpone their nuptials can now have them and enjoy a truly wonderful day here.”

Couples can discuss reception requirements with the list of recommended caterers including: Bryn Williams, Alexander & Björk, Bubble food, Blue Strawberry, Clement Worrall, By Word of Mouth, Seasoned Events, Payne & Gunter and Urban Caprice and Spring by acclaimed chef Skye Gingell.

Somerset House has been granted the ‘Good to Go’ Covid-19 Industry Standard Certificate in partnership with The National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The certificate gives visitors total confidence that the venue is following and will continue to follow the latest Government guidelines. All measures in place will be given to couples and are available to view on the website - www.somersethouse.org.uk
