Sternberg Clarke Provides First Entertainment at Temperate House

Thursday, July 12, 2018 - 11:30

You may recall in a recent news bulletin that Temperate House at Kew Gardens was a brand new event space in their roster of fabulous spaces to book or hire for your special occasion. Newly restored, Temperate House re-opened its doors to the public in May and since that time thousands of people have been lucky enough to walk beneath its hallowed glass exterior (in fact it’s actually the largest glasshouse in the world!)

Originally opened in 1862, the Grade I listed building can offer exceptional surroundings that you can’t find anywhere else and as a registered supplier to Kew Gardens, Sternberg Clarke were overjoyed to provide the very first entertainment at Temperate House in its newly restored form! Our hugely popular strolling acoustic trio Wandering Hands were delighted to play their combination of classic tunes and current pop hits in their unique feel good flavour, and guests were seen to be singing along as they performed.

Summer 2018 has been absolutely lovely so far and we were overjoyed to be the very first supplier to provide entertainment at Temperate House. As the photos show, it really is a superb ‘new’ venue for London and Wandering Hands fit in perfectly with the exotic surroundings.
