Table Talk and Blue Strawberry

Table Talk and Blue Strawberry unveiled their new Spring Summer menus to clients at a much anticipated showcase event at London’s Guildhall this week.


Guests enjoyed a feast of canapes and miniature versions of Table Talk and Blue Strawberry’s starters and main courses. Dishes such as Korean glazed duck breast with choi sum, glazed white turnip and sweet potato and Liquorice poached pear, blue cheese pannacotta and celariac essence delighted the taste buds but there were gasps when bespoke usherette trays filled with treats that appeared savoury but were in fact sweet –mini chocolate ice cream hamburgers in macaroon ‘buns’ apple and apricot churro ‘fish and chips” and hazelnut praline ‘hot-dogs’. The event provided the perfect opportunity to introduce former Professional MasterChef winner, Keri Moss, who has joined Table Talk and Blue Strawberry as Food Designer and was debuting her first set of menus in partnership with Executive Chef Ebbi Buchmann.

The Rum Runner mixed a variety of bespoke cocktails including The Dick Whittington – a wonderful combination of cardamom infused bourbon and marmalade and Grape Expectations made with gin, grape and celery bitters.

The Crypts of the Guildhall were transformed with two contrasting styles - a Gentleman’s Club and a Modern Bar thanks to Lighting from Event Concept and Great Hire with stunning flowers from Pinstripes and Peonies completing the visually arresting sight. Entertainment came in the form of Sternberg Clarke’s Ze Duo who even learnt the favourite song of one of the guests on the night!
