The Clink Events are delighted to have won a coveted Catey Award for CSER (Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility). This was an amazing achievement for the team who are on their way to becoming Net Zero by 2040, alongside delivering amazing events, providing training for students in HMP Downview and work opportunities for young people and vulnerable adults in the community. 

Clink Events recently moved into a new head office and production kitchen, designed with CSER in mind. The space features a food waste composter that reduces food waste by up to 80%, water-efficient technology and efficient heating controls, cutting operational energy use by 20%. Menus are seasonal and celebrate the best of British produce, reducing food miles and supporting local agriculture, while vegan and vegetarian options are actively promoted. Food waste is minimised through careful menu planning and leftovers donated to shelters and foodbanks. 

And with 100% of profits from all events reinvested into the Clink Charity, this social enterprise caterer provides lasting social impact and demonstrates how exceptional catering can drive real change beyond the kitchen. The judges’ comments on the night celebrated the team’s achievements.
