Located within the museum's lower concourse, The Hive has been created as a contemporary hub for collaboration, bringing together modern facilities and flexible layouts within one of London's most distinctive heritage settings. Set amongst the museum's historic Grade I listed almshouses and gardens; the new spaces offer a unique environment for organisations looking to host memorable events.

The Hive comprises three fully equipped spaces, each designed to accommodate different event formats. Hive 1 provides a large blank-canvas setting for conferences, exhibitions, talks and screenings, while Hive 2 offers a more intimate environment for content-led events, presentations and strategy sessions. Hive 3 has been designed for workshops, community meetings, and collaborative activities, complete with kitchenette facilities and adaptable breakout space.

All three rooms benefit from integrated AV technology and flexible layouts, allowing organisers to tailor the spaces to their requirements. Available seven days a week, The Hive is suited to corporate, charity, community, and creative sector events alike.
