Home News The Recipe introduces bespoke clarified cocktails designed for London's historic event venues
June 2026
The Recipe is delighted to introduce a new collection of clarified cocktails, created specifically for events hosted at London's most celebrated historic venues.
Developed by The Recipe's in-house mixologist, the collection launches with a clarified Bloody Mary and a Buck's Fizz, two serves designed to meet the strict drink restrictions in place at heritage and museum venues across the city, including the National Gallery, the V&A and St Paul's Cathedral. Many of these iconic spaces prohibit red wine and coloured drinks near their collections, a requirement that rightly protects their irreplaceable artefacts and artworks. The Recipe's new cocktail collection means that clients hosting events at these venues no longer have to compromise on their bar offering.

The clarified Bloody Mary retains all the complexity and character of the original whilst remaining entirely colourless, making it both venue-safe and genuinely impressive in the glass. The collection will continue to grow, with The Recipe's mixologist working closely with each client to build a bespoke cocktail menu suited to the venue, the occasion, and the guests.
Having a dedicated in-house mixologist means this expertise is available to every client as part of The Recipe's service, with no need to bring in an additional supplier or manage separate costs. For corporate events at historic venues, where a considered and creative drinks menu is often central to the guest experience, this is a meaningful addition to what The Recipe can offer.
Clementine Lowery at The Recipe said: "Our mixologist spends a lot of time thinking about what works in specific venues. Not just what tastes good but what's appropriate, what's safe for the space, and what's going to surprise guests. The clarified Bloody Mary came out of that process and it's become something we're really excited to offer. There's nothing quite like it on the market for historic venue event.”
