Tower of London strengthens events team with a series of external appointments.

The Tower of London part of Historic Royal Palaces is delighted to announce two new appointments within the functions & events team. Alexandra Hinch previously Sales and Events Executive at Ampersand Events, brings a wealth of knowledge of the catering world with her to the role of Events Executive at the Tower of London. Alex will be looking after the evening events at the Tower for events such as receptions and dinners.

Alex said ““The move to HRP was definitely the right decision for me. This is a great time to be joining the Tower of London which is one of the most iconic event spaces in the industry.”

Sophie Keevill joins the team as Events Co-ordinator and will be looking after all tour packages at the Tower of London. Such as the evening tour and Keys package which takes in the Ceremony of the Keys, which is the traditional locking up of the Tower of London and has taken place each and every night for over 700 years! Sophie’s experience within historic sites will support her new role at the Tower.

Finally, alongside our latest recruits, Laura Drake has been promoted from Events Executive to Senior Events Executive. Laura has worked at the Tower of London for over nine years across different roles and therefore her experience will be crucial in supporting the new appointments.

Sam Glenister-Batey Events Manager at HRP’s Tower of London said “This is an exciting time of development for the Tower of London team and I am very pleased to welcome Alex and Sophie in their new roles. This is further supported with Laura’s promotion giving a great start to what is already looking to be a very strong year for the Tower of London and HRP functions and events.”
