Key Players in the events industry came together with local business owners, bloggers and members of the community to celebrate the success of Twilight Trees and to thank the company's supporters throughout the past 8 years.
In a touching tribute to the community, the company chose Chilcomb's longest standing resident Mo Moffat, to cut the ribbon and officially induce the business into the village.
Female founder and Creative Director, Susie Reid Thomas started the company in 2014 whilst simultaneously bringing up two small children. Susie together with her husband Andrew, have since grown Twilight Trees into a cutting edge business with a dedicated and specialised local team. Twilight Trees has just taken over a 6,000 square foot unit in Chilcomb's Manor Farm.
Susie says; “We’re in a fabulous location not just in terms of being right on the edge of the South Downs and with a close proximity to London. What excites me is the fact that with Southampton, Solent, Winchester and Bournemouth Universities so close, we are slap-bang in the middle of a hub of creative talent that we hope to be able to nurture in the future”.
Twilight Trees started off as an LED tree company and is one of the leading innovators in biophilic bespoke installations and artificial tree rentals. The company faced standstill at the start of the pandemic but swift innovation and simple grit and determination saw the business successfully pivot, avoid catastrophe and ultimately thrive.
Recent clients have included BAFTA, Balmoral Castle, Boodles, Bond Street, the Harbour Hotel, Ashby’s Winchester, English Heritage, The National Trust, Natural History Museum, Goldman Sachs, Netflix, Amazon and many more.
