The Royal Institution has ample opportunities to host your event; whether that’s a celebratory dinner, conference, networking event and more. But the Ri also carries out its own activities throughout the year in all of the rooms available to hire and more, as the building continues to be a base for their science engagement activities that have been spanning over 200 years. 

The Ri’s own activities include the public programme of events taking place in the Theatre every week, workshops and masterclasses for young people, and even hands-on workshops in the Urenco Young Scientist Centre laboratory where students can utilise university-level equipment to help reinforce their curriculum in a practical and creative setting. 

Your event could also share a backdrop with the wealth of digital content created here in the building for the Ri’s social media and content channels. From our 1.6 million subscribers-strong YouTube channel, to our fortnightly podcast, the content created from our building has a significant international reach. By hosting your event at the Royal Institution, you can be part of the rich history of disseminating scientific knowledge and providing a space to share ideas.
