Barts North Wing a recently restored Grade I listed gem in West Smithfield that combines centuries of history with contemporary event capabilities, is now offering for the first time to public its awe-inspiring historic spaces for corporate events, private celebrations and intimate meetings. Every event at Barts North Wing also supports Barts Heritage's creative health and wellness programme for hospital staff and patients.

Katy Worwood, Head of Commercial Partnerships, Sales & Marketing at Barts North Wing comments: “We're absolutely delighted to become part of the Unique Venues of London network. Barts North Wing is a truly special venue, combining over 900 years of history as a charitable and healing space as the relatively unseen huge Hogarth Murals on our staircase depict. Joining UVL allows us to connect with like-minded venues that celebrate London's rich heritage while showcasing the city's most inspiring event spaces. We look forward to welcoming more clients to experience Barts North Wing

The Charterhouse is an almshouse and historic estate set in 7.5 acres of tranquil grounds in London’s vibrant Clerkenwell. An atmospheric central London setting for events, conveniently located close to transport links including the Elizabeth Line. Their fascinating story dates back to medieval times, spanning a Carthusian monastery, a grand Tudor mansion, and a pioneering charity founded by Thomas Sutton in 1611, which proudly remains today.

Hannah Cantrill, Venue Hire & Sales Manager at the Charterhouse comments: “We're delighted to be joining Unique Venues of London and to be part of such a diverse network of distinctive venues across London. The Charterhouse offers clients a truly unique setting, where over 600 years of history meets a peaceful seven-acre estate in the heart of Clerkenwell. Becoming a member is a fantastic opportunity to showcase everything our venue has to offer, and we look forward to welcoming new clients and creating memorable events in this remarkable setting.”

Lisa Hatswell, Managing Director of Unique Venues of London, said: “We are delighted to welcome three exceptional venues to our collection of more than 90 unique spaces across the capital. For over 33 years, we have helped clients discover outstanding venues in iconic, heritage and contemporary settings for events of every size. Each venue has its own distinctive character, while sharing a commitment to excellence in events.”
