Harrow School

Throughout 2020 the events team at Harrow School hosted a number of intimate, covid-safe civil ceremonies for between 4 and 30 guests. This image of The Old Harrovian Room perfectly depicts what a covid-safe, civil ceremony set up would look like... 15 guests in household bubbles at a safe distance.

In January, Harrow’s events team would usually be busy hosting venue visits for newly engaged couples. An exciting new chapter begins when couples start to view potential wedding venues. However, due to the lockdown they are currently organising virtual meetings instead.

Harrow still have availability for 2021. To hear more about hosting your wedding at Harrow School please email weddings@harrowschool.org.uk

With the government vaccination programme currently being rolled out, there is optimism that this will mean the long-awaited return of wedding celebrations later this year, which is something we are so looking forward to at the Museum of London! We recognise the need for even more flexibility as we navigate life post Covid-19 and as such we have numerous packages available to suit different budgets, guest numbers and requirements.

Whether it’s a drinks reception in our enchanted recreated 18th century Pleasure Garden which features real trees and a variety of original dresses, a wedding breakfast in our popular People’s City Gallery with incredible artefacts such as the original Art Deco Selfridges Lift and a 1930’s London taxi, or a larger evening party once permitted in the London Ellipse Hall with its 360 degree digital ellipse where you can see your name in lights, our team are on hand to assist with every aspect of the planning process. We can also offer outside space with our private garden available to hire during the summer months.
