White Light Brings Christmas to Natural History Museum

Monday, January 7, 2019 - 09:45

During the festive season, White Light was called upon to supply the technical solutions at the Natural History Museum’s Earth Hall, with the venue hosting a range of Christmas parties and events.

The Earth Hall offers an intimate yet impressive event space at one of London’s most sought-after venues. It provides a unique destination for any Christmas event thanks to its awe-inspiring spaces and historic charm. Having supported the entire Christmas season last year, White Light was asked to return and supply the same services in 2018.

White Light’s Production Account Manager Steve Burnham comments: “The Christmas events held at the Earth Hall were done so exclusively for the Natural History Museum’s clients. As a result, the venue wanted to ensure they offered them the very best experience possible. It’s an indication of our strong working relationship that they put their entire trust in us to help deliver these events”.

For the Christmas events, White Light was tasked with providing the lighting, audio, staging and crew. There were 13 continuous events in total, with White Light provided a technical set-up tailored to each one.

Steven explains: “Whilst the events might have been taking place in the same space, each client wanted their party to have an individual feel; such as if there was specific branding or if they wanted to bring in musicians etc. Thankfully our knowledge of the space, coupled with our technical expertise and access to the latest technology, allowed us to deliver exactly what each client required”.

Robert Wetherell, Head of Venue Hire and Catering at the Natural History Museum, comments: “We were delighted by the response we received this year from clients who were able to host unforgettable festive celebrations within our venue. We were also delighted to once again be working with White Light, who continued to supply expert technical support; not only during the Christmas period but throughout the entire year”.
