Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition opens at the Natural History Museum

Every Autumn, the Natural History Museum unveils its annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, featuring remarkable photographs that illustrate the diversity, beauty and complexity of the natural world and humanity's relationship to it.

This year, WPY61 opened in October to showcase the winning entries from the 2025 competition.

The world’s oldest and most prestigious wildlife photography competition, it received a record-breaking 60,636 entries for its sixty-first iteration, from photographers across 113 countries and territories.

The paid-for exhibition brings to life a global showcase of emotive images, from animal portraiture and photojournalism to urban wildlife and underwater worlds.
