Lighting up Burlington Arcade

The event we treasure every year is the switching on of the lights at Burlington Arcade. Every event and every sale still gives me such a buzz but there’s nothing quite like seeing the whole of Burlington Arcade lit up with an avenue of LED Cherry Trees. Our trees line the arcade during the entirety of the festive season. This year will be our fourth year there and it’s every bit as special as the first.

A party isn’t a party anymore

Compared to how it was 25 years ago, parties are so much more extravagant now.  It’s not just about music and food; guests want an experience and hosts want to create an event to remember.  Technology also plays a huge role in creating a memorable event - the more interactive and immersive the better.

Hard work is the secret to success

In this industry you need to be passionate about your business to survive.  Going above and beyond to ensure each and every job is done to the best of your abilities is where success lies.  That and a truly spectacular and unique product.

No two clients are ever the same

Our client base varies hugely. We have sold trees to people that simply want a little sparkle on their roof terrace and celebrities who want a 2 metre cherry tree adorning their kitchen! We rent to people that are looking for a special atmosphere at their wedding, events that are so secret that we have to sign our lives away and retail outlets that want their windows to sparkle the most during the Christmas season.

How have you adapted your brand to the changing market?

We have increased our range significantly and last year launched our first range of non-LED trees; ‘Trees in Bloom’ and ‘Trees in Green’. What we are most excited about at the moment is our brand new and uber impressive ‘Trees in Gold’ collection. Rich, eye-catching and truly magical; Our ‘Golden Delicious’ tree has joined our ranks to inject a little more fun into the collection and is being launched in time for the festive season!
