Let me entertain you!

Wednesday, November 2, 2016 - 13:15

With Christmas and New Year on the horizon, the season of entertaining is well and truly upon us! With everything from LED Ballerinas to human hedges, it’s time to cast aside those views of tired magic acts and underwhelming circus clowns and prepare for the next level of performance. Here is a snapshot of some of the ground-breaking entertainment available this party season.

We’ve also been busy creating our newly launched brochure, so for more information on all of our fabulous member venues and a selection of suppliers they work with, click here

“When it comes to alternative entertainment, we love acts that guests won’t be expecting. The hedge-shaped humans of Living Topiary are great fun, whilst The Mirror Man will amaze in his reflective suit! The Inflate-a-Belles are brilliant at what they do as well; providing balloon based headwear and accessories for guests! If you’re looking for seasonal entertainment, Reindeer Stiltwalkers and Bjorn the Polar Bear are the perfect choice for Christmas events!”

“With 32 years of providing the best and most unusual entertainment in and around London, Prelude Entertainment strives to always be on the lookout for the latest off the wall ideas! In the last year Prelude has provided the finest entertainment to many of London’s iconic venues including our amazing beat boxing trio, our 4-piece strolling acoustic band, the latest in Aerial Acts and probably the craziest thing we have seen in years, the Vaping Tricksters who are soon to be added onto our website! Stay tuned for the next big thing.”

Rodney Prout, Prelude Entertainment

“Our recent immersive showcase, Wild Tonic featured some highly unusual and bespoke entertainment including a living, breathing Gainsbough-esque floral creation to create a life sized flower portrait and the perfect Instagram moment on arrival. Instead of a caricaturist, a Vogue illustrator created beautiful portraits that everyone wanted to take home. Our glamorous magician drew gasps of astonishment as we enjoyed an improvised combination of a trumpet and tap routine. Finally a zoot-suited break dancing trio performing serious moves in their signature ‘open hand’ dance, brought the evening to a fantastic climax.”

“Young Guns tailor all performances to exceed clients' expectations and are passionate about creating new acts. Classically trained Tokio Myers combines classical and cinematic piano music with sample pads and lighting to create a powerfully evocative show. We also work with LED ballerinas, drummers and violinists who create visually stunning shows, as well as an iPad Magician who incorporates everyday technology into his show, using up to 9 iPads in an extraordinarily interactive show. Young Guns works tirelessly to style every experience, ensuring that no two are the same.”
