London’s best festive entertainment

Wednesday, October 31, 2018 - 18:15

The temperature is dropping and the nights are drawing in, it‘s nearly Christmas! With the end of the year looming, we’ve been thinking all things festive. Here’s the latest from our venues and suppliers on what they'll be doing to get into the Christmas spirit...

Venues

Somerset House

Skate at Somerset House with Fortnum & Mason offers the ultimate Christmas setting for 2018 Christmas parties, where guests can soak up the central London venue’s unique festive atmosphere with its Christmas trees festooned with decorations, twinkling fairy lights and Fortnum & Mason’s Christmas Arcade adding to the sense of occasion.

Sky Garden

This year, for one night only Sky Garden will be hosting the ultimate Christmas occasion, perfect for office parties or festive get-togethers with friends and family.

Party in fabulously festive style with unlimited drinks, delicious passed canapes and bowl food along with all-night live music and dancing. For festive bookings for groups of 30 or more, please email SkyGarden.Events@skygarden.london.

Kensington Palace

Running from the 17th-21st December, The Luna Winter Cinema experience at Kensington Palace will give film fans of all ages a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of last-minute Christmas shopping, to enjoy iconic Christmas classics on the big screen with friends and family. Suppliers

Wise Productions

A great way to incorporate a Christmas or winter theme for festive entertainment is to project patterns such as snowflakes to compliment the lighting design of warm golds and cool blues. Wise Productions loved this corporate event at Natural History Museum last year and the team is looking forward to creating similar looks this season.

Sternberg Clarke

It’s time to get Christmassy! With a ton of weird and wonderful acts to choose from, Sternberg Clarke will have what you’re looking for. And if we don’t, just ask – we’ll see what we can do.

Aerial Ice Dancer, Alissa, is a unique addition to any Christmas bash. One minute she’s hanging from a trapeze, the next she’s twirling on the ice.

Eric the Explorer injects fun and silliness into an event. Eric will wonder the party, potentially spreading befuddlement, but definitely spreading laughter!

Living Christmas Trees. Exactly as it sounds – people hidden inside fake Christmas trees which burst to life. Simple, but brilliant!
