Preparing for a not-so-Silent Night...

Thursday, May 9, 2019 - 11:30

It is never too early to plan a Christmas party, and a unique venue is the perfect setting for a memorable winter gathering.

Unique Venues of London offers an array of locations in which to organise a stunning cold-weather event, from the historic and majestic to the modern and intimate.

To celebrate the most festive time of year, look no further than the following five venues. All are guaranteed to inspire joy and provide the ideal backdrop for events that will warm the hearts of those who attend:

Twickenham Stadium

Twickenham Stadium offers a host of suites, including its most exclusive party space, The Lock, which benefits from a luxury bar and views of the famous pitch, as well as a DJ to help guests dance the night away.

Both private and shared Christmas parties are available to book and each package includes a dedicated Christmas coordinator to make planning a party that little bit easier.

No.4 Hamilton Place

No 4. Hamilton Place is a spectacular Christmas party venue in the heart of Mayfair. The Edwardian townhouse is rich in character and steeped in history, featuring Louis XVI gilt cornicing, chandeliers, bow windows and a breathtaking baroque staircase at the building’s centre.

Regal theming complements these incredible details, creating an exquisite setting for Christmas events. The fabulous terrace is covered during the winter months with a heated marquee under which guests can enjoy the fantastic view of Hyde Park in comfort, perfect for aperitifs before being seated for a delicious three-course meal in the Argyll Room.

Alongside Blue Strawberry, No.4 Hamilton Place has designed comprehensive Christmas packages that offer incredible value starting at £97+VAT, based on a minimum of 80 guests.

No.4 is currently offering a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival for Christmas packages booked by September 2019.

The National Gallery

Overlooking the iconic Trafalgar Square Christmas tree, the National Gallery is a superb location for a show-stopping Christmas party.

Attendees can eat, drink and dance until 2am, and also enjoy private tours of the Nativity. For dinners, guests can bask in the beautiful green damask setting of the Wohl Room or the festive red hues in Central Hall and Room 30.

Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds can host between 50 and 1,000 guests for office Christmas parties, dinner dances and other festive events.

The exciting venue takes care of everything when guests book a Christmas gathering, and all its exclusive hire packages include catering, wine, beer and soft drinks, a disco, DJ and a dedicated event manager.

For those looking to host smaller dinners and mid-sized Christmas parties, the venue’s futuristic superhero-inspired space, Movies at Madame Tussauds, is the ideal option. Guests can partake in a variety of fun activities, such as trying on Iron Man’s outfit and visiting Yoda in the Swamps of Dagobah, as well as enjoying a free nine-minute 4D show featuring interactive seats, back pokes and leg ticklers in the Marvel Movie Zone.

Museum of London

This Christmas, award-winning cultural destination the Museum of London will be transporting guests back in time to celebrate the festive season.

Guests will have the opportunity to celebrate the great Frost Fairs of the 18th and 19th centuries. Inspired by the periods in which Londoners came out to play on the frozen River Thames, the museum will be elaborately dressed with elegant bunting, draping and Frost Fair-inspired imagery, designed to immerse guests in the spirit of Christmas.

Packages are available for exclusive parties of between 100 and 1,000 guests, starting from £72+VAT per person.
