Hintze Hall has a dramatic sense of place. With its grand entrance leading to soaring Romanesque arches, a magnificent stone staircase and 25m skeleton of a blue whale suspended from the ceiling, it is the ideal venue for all kinds of events.
Just some of the events we've held: dinner dances, after-show parties, fashion shows, award ceremony press launches, bar and bat mitzvahs, and weddings. Depending on the number of people and the nature of your event, you can also hire the adjoining galleries for your guests to explore.
Situated in the heart of the City of London, the world’s leading international financial and business centre, this striking Grade I-listed landmark offers a stunning setting for banquets, conferences, dinners and receptions. Situated moments from the River Thames and a short walk from Vauxhall underground station, the Garden Museum is housed in the deconsecrated church of St Mary’s-at-Lambeth. The Museum has been restored to house seven brand new galleries and two stunning garden spaces designed by Chelsea Flower Show garden designers, Christopher Bradley-Hole and Dan Pearson. As Britain’s only museum dedicated to the art, history and design of gardens, the Museum provides a completely unique space in the heart of London.
In a leafy square at the heart of historic Bloomsbury, the Foundling Museum celebrates the history of Thomas Coram’s Foundling Hospital (est. 1739) and the Hospital’s relationship with the artistic visionaries that championed Coram’s cause. Works by Hogarth, Gainsborough and Reynolds adorn the original rococo interiors, while a fascinating collection of artefacts relating to Handel add a musical element to this unique Bloomsbury venue. The Foundling Museum, available for exclusive hire, is arranged over four floors.
Banqueting House has two spaces for corporate and private evening entertaining. The Main Hall is topped by the magnificent Rubens ceiling and able to seat 380 for dinner or 500 for a drinks reception. The Undercroft is an atmospheric space for pre-dinner drinks or more contemporary parties.
