Barts North Wing

Barts North Wing is one of London's most extraordinary event spaces, a Grade I listed gem in West Smithfield that combines centuries of history with contemporary event capabilities, now available for corporate hire following a landmark £9.5 million restoration completed in 2025.

Guests arrive via the iconic Hogarth Stair, decorated with two of William Hogarth's most celebrated paintings, setting an unforgettable tone before they reach the inspiring Great Hall. This breathtaking centrepiece space features an ornate plaster ceiling, walls adorned with the names of over 3,000 historic benefactors, and fully integrated lighting, heating and audio systems, making it as functional as it is spectacular. The Great Hall accommodates up to 300 for a standing reception, 200 for a conference and 150 for a seated dinner.

For more intimate occasions, the Henry VIII Room offers a beautifully proportioned setting for private dining, client entertaining or smaller meetings, accommodating up to 50 guests for a reception and 30 for dinner or a seated conference.

All catering is provided by Lettice Events, with bespoke menus crafted to suit each occasion and space, from working lunches and drinks receptions to multi-course gala dinners.

Every event at Barts North Wing also supports Barts Heritage's creative health and wellness programme for hospital staff and patients.
