Houses of Parliament

As one of the world’s most iconic buildings, no other venue in the world is more instantly recognised than the Palace of Westminster. The UNESCO World Heritage Site stands on a historic riverside location.

As one of the world’s most iconic buildings, no other venue in the world is more instantly recognised than the Palace of Westminster. The UNESCO World Heritage Site stands on a historic riverside location which was once the ancient palace to the Norman Kings and is now home to the United Kingdom’s Parliament.

The Houses of Parliament which is now fitted with the convenience of the 21st century has twelve venues available for hire, ranging from the Members’ Dining Room, with a capacity of 200 for a standing reception, to one of the private dining rooms seating 14 guests for a dinner. One of our most popular event spaces is the Terrace Pavilion, a riverside purpose built marquee providing the opportunity for guests to drink and network over-looking the River Thames and London Eye.

Make the most of the historical setting by requesting a full guided tour as part of their event. Guests will follow in the footsteps of political history as they explore Westminster Hall, St Stephens Hall and both the Commons and the Lords debating chambers.

Our skilled event co-ordinators are on hand to offer advice and inspiration to clients from the initial site visit and menu planning through to personalised gifts, they will help design your guest journey through to the event day.

Steeped in history the Palace of Westminster provides a unique setting for any event. If you would like to wow your guests at your next event you can contact the Houses of Parliament Events Team.
