Saatchi Gallery

The Saatchi Gallery is ideal for both large and more intimate events, with a capacity of up to 1,500 people.

The Saatchi Gallery, housed in an iconic and historic Grade II* listed building on the Kings Road, Chelsea, has large, minimalist and modern interiors which enable pure versatility and flexibility for your event.

With world leading contemporary art collections creating an ever changing backdrop for events, the Saatchi Gallery provides an elegant, multipurpose setting to host events for up to 1,500 guests.

This Palladian style building was originally designed by John Sanders, a pupil of John Sloane.  The land in which the Gallery sits upon was owned by the Cadogan family until 1801 when the government purchased it and constructed the 'Royal Military Asylum for the Children of Soldiers of the Regular Army' - a residential home and school for children who lost their parents in the war.

The school relocated in 1909 in 1911 the Territorial Army took ownership, renaming it ‘the Duke of York's Headquarters’. Then, in 1999, the Ministry of Defence sold the site to the developer Cadogan Estates, who now lease the building to the Saatchi Gallery.

With a contemporary art collection; a cherished history and committed events team, hosting your event at the Saatchi Gallery will be a stress-free and memorable occasion.
