Located on Kensington High Street with beautiful views over Holland Park, the museum's seven different event spaces form one of London’s most iconic contemporary events venues.

The Design Museum’s stunningly refurbished 1960s building offers multiple venues for a range of different events including drinks receptions, conferences, awards ceremonies, dinners, product launches and meetings.

Each event space is housed under the incredible hyperbolic paraboloid roof, an original feature from this landmark Grade II* listed building’s former use as the Commonwealth Institute.

The museum operates as a registered charity and all funds generated through venue hire go towards supporting the Museum’s vision for everyone to understand the value of design.

The museum is available for exclusive day time hire, allowing for more flexibility around set up times and making it ideal for larger briefs like exhibitions, filming, fashion shows, product launches and those needing the privacy of an entire takeover.

The Commercial Hire & Events Department at the Design Museum is committed to showing leadership when it comes to creating environmentally friendly events and brand activations, especially within the unique venues sector.
