Situated in the heart of London, The Wallace Collection is home to one of the world’s finest collections of French eighteenth-century Old Master paintings and decorative arts. The Collection was formed over five generations of the Hertford family before being given to the Nation by Lady Wallace in 1897. Best known for its paintings by Boucher, Fragonard, Rembrandt and Canaletto, the museum also boasts outstanding works of porcelain, furniture and an impressive array of arms and armour.
